Job Description:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The associate is responsible for the functions below, in addition to other duties as assigned:

  • Responsible for maintaining adequate levels of parts and supply inventories.
  • Maintain organized parts room(s).
  • Conduct regular, periodic physical count of inventory.
  • Research, identify and locate potential vendors.
  • Obtaining vendor quotes and negotiate optimum price for parts and supplies.
  • Authorized to make purchases for the company.
  • Receive parts and supplies and see that they are properly identified, stored, and added into inventory.
  • Process and file all paperwork involved with purchasing, receiving, and invoicing of maintenance parts and supplies.
  • Assist in maintaining the facility’s Safety data Sheets SDS by obtaining up-to-date documentation for any new or updated products purchased and providing them to the appropriate party maintaining the SDS system, thereby helping the plant to remain in compliance of the required Hazard Communication Standards.
  • Manage the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).  This includes but is not limited to continued development of the system, maintaining the equipment ID structure, editing, and maintaining the work order system, printing work orders, entering completed work orders into the database and generating status reports as required.
  • Assist with the development of and modifications to the Preventative Maintenance schedules.
  • Assist with clerical and bookkeeping tasks as needed.
  • Compliance with all safety requirements.
  • All associates in their related tasks are responsible for maintaining the commitment to Food Safety and Food Quality.

Supervisory Responsibilities

This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.
