Job Description:

The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience administering, managing and imaging endpoints including Windows, Android and iOS utilizing modern tools in an enterprise setting. This role will also be a key project resource and work cross functionally with other teams to accomplish project objectives.

The End User Services –Endpoint Administrator (EUS/EA) position is responsible for the administration, implementation and support of IT End User infrastructure including software and hardware solutions typically involving operating systems such as Windows, MAC, Android, iOS or Linux and hosting solutions to support end user devices.

The EUS/EA coordinates internal team projects and serves as a resource in enterprise and cross-functional projects and provides guidance as an escalation point for End User Services Analysts.

This EUS/EA is responsible for aligning the delivery of technical services to end users with the ability to meet organizational requirements including but not limited to cost effectiveness, security and compliance.   

   ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

            

Administer and maintain enterprise management platforms for modern endpoint operating systems Create and maintain images to support endpoint devices Work with hardware maintenance teams on image deployments including testing, pilot, and roll out. Define deployment package strategies and monitor deployment compliance by endpoint device type Create back out plans for any scheduled upgrades or maintenance Administer and maintain managed print services devices and utilities Design and implement policies for device configuration, compliance, application deployment, and patch management Manage remote support tools to ensure secure, efficient, and scalable access for IT support teams Develop and maintain automation scripts and workflows to streamline endpoint operations and improve user experience Monitor system performance, generate reports, and proactively address issues related to endpoint health and compliance Collaborate with security teams to enforce device encryption, threat protection and access control policies Develop test plans. Executes test plans and documents test statistics, metrics, and results Provide Tier 3 support for escalated endpoint-related incidents and service requests Works with vendors and technical teams to resolve system issues Participate in audits and ensure adherence to regulatory and organizational standards Evaluate and recommend improvements to endpoint management strategies and toolsets Must maintain a high level of technical competence in the systems supported, including pushing creative thinking beyond the boundaries of existing industry practices and client mindsets Maintain a safe and clean work environment

KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT

    The EUS/EA develops, organizes, and publishes documentation to provide a knowledge base to the Weis Markets End User Services team.  This role executes analysis of data and processes and is responsible for End User Services Analyst training, refresher courses, and may conduct training to existing staff to ensure consistency and accuracy of processes. 

  • Maintains organization of documentation relevant to delivery of End User Services to provide a knowledge base. 
  • Identifies the various knowledge bases used within End User Services and ensures all documents reside on all knowledge bases are consistent and searchable with key words.
  • Acts as the administrator of all knowledge base documents within End User Services to ensure revisions are timely.
  • Identifies areas of opportunity where triage and troubleshooting documents are needed, develops, trains, and publishes documents that contribute to accurate and consistent operations within End User Services.
  • Performs Analytics with collaboration from Manager, End User Services.
  • Identifies trends and service issues and options for mitigation for review with the Manager, End User Services.
  • Interacts with project teams to coordinate any needed training for new types of technology services or handling of issues and ensure adequate End User Services coverage.
  • Develops an End User Services resource plan to support new project deliverables being implemented into production from training of resources to go live support.
  • Performs above tasks both independently and as directed by/in concert with the Manager, End User Services.

Supervisory Responsibilities

·Endpoint Administrator will periodically be asked to serve as mentors to Senior Analyst and Analyst level associates.

Qualification Requirements

Education and/or Experience

  • Typically requires a bachelor’s degree or higher in Information Technology, Computer Sciences, Business or related field.
  • Equivalent experience also considered
  • Certifications are a plus.
  • Should have project delivery experience.
  • Should have significant End User Services knowledge and experience.

Technical Understanding and Knowledge

  • Demonstrates proficiency with modern desktop and mobile computer technology and solutions.
  • Demonstrates ability to show troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work in a stressful environment and meet deadlines with little supervision.
  • Ability to construct meaningful sentences and has polished writing skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with customers and callers in a professional manner.
  • Demonstrates an advanced working knowledge of Information Technology (I.T.) systems.
  • Has general knowledge of need to follow compliance protocols such as Sarbanes Oxley (SOX), Payment Card Industry (PCI) and Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).
    Must be able to use interpersonal skills to influence others and provide leadership and direction. 
  • Must have the ability to communicate knowledge to others both verbally and in writing.
  • Must be highly organized and self-motivated.
