Receives and checks in all equipment that is delivered directly to the IT Field Service Warehouse from vendors as well as equipment returned from stores.
Receives, checks, counts and records all equipment that comes into the warehouse directly from vendors. Fills outgoing equipment request from ITFS team or stores and tracks accordingly.Compares identifying information and verifies counts or weight of incoming merchandise against bills of lading, invoices, orders or other records.
Insures that product is in good operating condition.Reports damaged items to department manager, records shortages and enters data or equipment received into the systems so proper billing takes place.
Is responsible for backroom security and keeping the work area organized.Maintains records used for tracking ITFS inventories.
Keeps work area clean so as to comply with established health and sanitation requirements.Maintains and follows company safety standards and insures that equipment used for receiving and moving inventory to storage or the shipping area is in safe operating condition.
Assist with baling cardboard and make bales as necessary (must be over 18 years of age and properly trained) or other related duties or may work in other areas of department as needed.Perform some minor housekeeping such as emptying the trash etc.
High school diploma or equivalent desired
Two years’ experience in warehouse environment preferred.
General computer knowledge
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications needed.
Must be 18 years of age or older and have prior training to operate large equipment
