The primary purpose of this position is responsible for planning, developing, facilitating, and implementing all actions needed to manage the pricing function for all Weis Markets products. This role will own the pricing process and develop strategic pricing recommendations to be presented to senior leadership. The incumbent is also required to perform all tasks in a safe manner consistent with corporate policies and applicable laws.
The associate is responsible for the functions below, in addition to other duties as assigned:
Understand state cigarette pricing laws and execute cigarette price changes for all cigarette vendors, both direct store delivery and warehouse. Act as primary corporate contact for direct delivery cigarette
Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in Accounting, Finance or related field, plus five (5) years' experience in Cost Accounting and/or Pricing or equivalent combination of education and experience.
