The primary purpose of this position is to lead a team of Third Party Representatives to reset the layout of new stores, remodeled stores, and stores undergoing a general reset.
The associate is responsible for the functions below, in addition to other duties as assigned:
This position directly supervises fifteen (15) Reset Representatives and carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with Weis Markets policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training, directing, rewarding, and disciplining associates; appraising associate performance; and resolving complaints.
To perform this job successfully, the associate must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) equivalent, plus five (5) years’ experience in operations or merchandising; or equivalent combination of education and experience. In addition, the associate should have knowledge of reading blueprints/planograms.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operation and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or associates. Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
Ability to add and subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Ability to apply common-sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
The following qualities are required:
Ability to pass drug test.
Minimum age of 18 years old to travel for business purposes.
