Responsible for order replenishment for selected vendors. Tracking of shipments to ensure delivery dates are met.

  • Monitors warehouse inventory on a timely basis.
  • Coordinates with Category Manager.
  • Route purchase requests from Purchase request mailbox to appropriate associates
  • Track status of purchase requests to ensure timely follow up.
  • Follow up and track Capital Expense requests.
  • Assist in implementation of new purchasing system as required
  • Assist in office supply fulfillment at Store Support Center
  • Track delivery of purchase orders as required.
  • Performs various administrative functions:  processing cost/price changes, deal sheets, pack changes; initiating invoicing with accounting; working with vendors on new item information and processing new item forms; filing reports and correspondence.
  • Works with accounting on billing discrepancies.
  • Responsible for invoice reconciliation.
  • Responsible for service level to the stores.
  • Responsible for store communications via telephone and e-mail.

Job Qualifications

  • Computer proficiency in general business software is required, including a working knowledge of Excel and Word documents.

  • Good communication skills both written and verbal.
