Job Description:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The associate is responsible for the functions below, in addition to other duties as assigned:

  • Facilitate the COP sanitation and cleaning process of all tanks, lines, belts, and mixers.
  • Disassemble production equipment to begin the sanitation process and re-assemble when the sanitation process is completed.
  • Complete all documentation associated with the sanitation process and allergen swab testing.
  • Complete all inspections of production equipment to ensure production lines operate at optimal efficiency and effectiveness levels.
  • Operate powered industrial equipment such as a forklift or pallet jack to move chemical drums into position for the sanitation process. Training and certification will be provided through Weis Markets.
  • Responsible for maintaining commitment to all Weis Markets, food safety, OSHA, SOP, and GMPs, and PDA policies and regulations.


SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This associate has no direct supervisory responsibilities.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

Working towards completion of a High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
