The primary purpose of this position is to support the Pharmacy team with their strategic initiatives by performing analytic and reporting functions in support of the department’s goal to maximize pharmacy sales and profitability. This individual will be responsible for providing analysis utilizing data and modeling tools to evaluate pharmacy programs and ensure third party contract valuation is consistent with the terms of the agreements. Assist with analyzing inventory metrics including our replenishment vendor results, excessive product in stores, as well as outdated products. Evaluate Pharmacy dispensing system and clinical platform data for anomalies, medication synchronization impacts, pharmacy systems impact to optimize labor costs, and evaluate expense variance to budget. Frequent independent judgements are essential. The incumbent is also required to perform all tasks in a safe manner consistent with company policies and state/federal laws.

To perform this job successfully, the associate must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business or other relevant field of study plus 2 years’ experience in an analytical role with a strong aptitude in query and statistical analysis tools and basic mathematical modeling. Preferred experience in retail pharmacy or managed care environment.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small- group situations to management and other associates. Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
The ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide numbers with up to eight digits and to perform these operations using American units of money, weight, volume and distance.
