The primary purpose of this position is to perform systematic audits on all order selectors for order accuracy and inspect orders prepared for shipping to our stores from the Milton Distribution Center. to help maintain accurate inventory levels and financial integrity. The auditor will verify that all items on the work order are present and in salable condition for the ordering store location. The associate will keep detailed records of missing items and ensure all work orders are checked for accuracy. The auditor will provide reports to the DC Inventory Manager for record keeping.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The associate is responsible for the functions below, in addition to other duties as assigned:
Perform systematic quality control and auditing responsibilities on shipments before they are sent to the stores.
Monitor warehouse damage and initiate resolution.
Notify appropriate department leads for product discrepancies
Utilize reports to assist with investigating and expediting issues related to inventory discrepancies and audit results
Maintain accurate, organized files or database entries for all department responsibilities for efficient access to necessary information
Perform daily warehouse responsibilities in areas related to shipping, receiving, customer service, and/or inventory management within established time frames
Ensure compliance with company standards in the areas of accuracy, safety, and productivity
Complete other duties as assigned by supervisor or other leaders
Operate industrial power equipment such as carts and pallet jacks in a safe and efficient manner.
Provide daily audit reports to the DC Inventory Manager and maintain confidentiality of results.
Looking for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift positions.
Earn up to $18.75 based off of experience.
Attendance Bonus included.
This associate has no direct supervisory responsibilities.
Education and/or Experience
High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED), warehouse and selection experience preferred but not required.
Ability to read and interpret documents, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions/procedure manuals. Can speak effectively to customers to solicit new business. Able to type, prepare, copy, file, and keep records.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Able to compute rate, ratio, and percent, and to draw, and interpret bar graphs.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

The following qualities are required:
Minimum eighteen (18) years of age. This position requires the operation of an industrial power truck.
Ability to pass a drug test, physical, and lift test.
