The Manager, Quality Assurance provides direction and leadership to the resources in the Quality Assurance department. The manager is accountable for the creation and maintainance of Quality Assurance Testing Strategies, Test Plans, processes and tools.
These strategies and plans will span Enterprise level projects through Functional Projects and Small Work Requests that can include information technology, business and third-party resources. They will include all facets of Quality Assurance testing including but not limited to Unit Testing, System Testing, Regression Testing, Solution Testing and User Acceptance Testing.
The Manager, Quality Assurance will work with the Enterprise Architecture team in the selection and implementation of tools and processes needed to support the Quality Assurance team. The Manager will be accountable for the quality and accuracy of work output, and the tracking, escalation and reporting of defects to the project team and project Governance.
The Manager, Quality Assurance oversees a pool of resources, including both internal and third-party contracted resources to provide enterprise-wide support for Quality Assurance.
Frequent, independent judgments are essential. The incumbent is also required to perform all tasks in a safe and secure manner consistent with corporate policies and applicable laws.
