The Project Manager provides project management for a single or multiple projects with varying degrees of complexity, identified as part of the organization’s plans. This will involve the production of plans, documentation and the provision of guidance for project teams and ensuring communication is maintained between all stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring all organizational procedures are adhered to, objectives are identified and met, and benefits realized from the implementation of the change.
Associates degree in Computer Science/Computer Engineering or related field or 8-10 years of experience as a business operations manager, project manager, consultant and/or business analyst in a role related to Information Technology or Business Processes. PMP Certification Preferred
Acts as the primary interface for the project to the project sponsor(s) and product manager as well as all Weis Markets Business Units and is accountable for managing the overall project.
Publishes a comprehensive overall project plan, including the development schedule, resource requirements and integration efforts of third party products.
Planning, scheduling and controlling the activities of complex business projects spanning multiple organizations to ensure that project deliverables are provided on time, within budget and in accordance to specification.
Ensures that the methodology, processes and tools are consistently used as dictated through Enterprise Program Management Office (EPMO) & follows PMBOK Project Management disciplines.
