The HR Manager position exists as a primary manager of human resources functions covering one or two operating districts in Baltimore MD stores. The HRM partners with district managers in order to complete total talent management which includes workforce planning, performance management, talent development, and associate engagement.
The associate is responsible for the functions below in addition to other duties as assigned:
Recruitment, staffing, and development of assistant department managers & department managers
Will investigate and bring to resolution all associate relation issues
Identifies succession planning needs and works in cooperation with the RHRM for advancement of hourly associates into salaried management
Coordinates training plans for associates at the department manager level and works with the HR specialist to arrange on-boarding
Works with store teams on HR compliance issues and maintains standards as it relates to all federal, state and local employment laws.
Supports stores in hourly hiring efforts
