Provides standard and ad-hoc business reports to corporate management, category managers, and supply chain associates. Reviews reports and provides insight with regard to their contents including summarization and recommendations. Uses a variety of data sources and systems to assemble information required for reporting.
SQL Server Databases
Understand how to read and calculate key measures and indicators used in evaluating sales and the effectiveness of Merchandising Programs.
Work with the Information Technology and Accounting groups to communicate needs and acquire data.
Support the reporting needs of Merchandising Management and the Fresh and Center Store Category Management, Supply Chain, Pricing, and Computer-Based Ordering teams.
BS in Business Administration, Marketing, or other related field. Experience in the Grocery industry is a plus. Knowledge of SQL query language is a plus.
Proficient in Microsoft Access, Excel, Powerpoint and Word. Ability to quickly learn specialized, computer-based reporting systems. Good mathematical and communication skills. Ability to analyze data and identify trends and opportunities.
